Is the game being purposely manipulated?

Many people are beginning to question whether the BOTB game is being purposly manipulated by certain judges placing questionable markers. By doing so this can enable BOTB to pull the judge's average away from the hotspots, thus assisting BOTB to avoid the return of 'game credit'. The financial sums involved may at first appear insignificant BUT by manipulating the game this way it could generate millions of pounds in profit throughout the year!

We believe there needs to be a significant change to the way each week's image is judged, this shoddy judging cannot possibly be good for the reputation of BOTB.

How can we encourage BOTB to improve?

The only way we see to improve the judging is to highlight when they get it completely wrong. The aim is to encourage the judging to become more realistic and fairer. Ultimately, we strive to make the Winners Revealed averages more accurate for the benefit of our members and we sense we've already seen this at play because immediatly after launching the 'Joker Judge' one of our members won and soon after a 'First Glance' average was just one pixel away from the judges winning coordinate!

When you're approximately 318 pixels away from your closest colleague it's probably time to consider your position as a 'professional judge'. While Liam's marker was removed, had it been in a more realistic position the win would have been completely different. YOU might have had the win snatched from you due to Liam's shoddy judging and unfortunately this poor judging falls at BOTB's feet.

Joker judge of the week:  Joe Thompson

We've only run 'Joker Judge of the Week' three times and Joe has appeared twice. What's that say!

We're not sure what's worst, the position of Joe's marker or the fact all but one judge suggested it should remain!

Had Joe's marker been removed, the Winners Revealed BOTB Community 'First Glance' would have been just 6 pixels away from the winning coordinate. However, it was conveniently allowed to remain, which is laughable when viewing the image up close with Joe's marker showing as the light blue cross, seen below. Remember, these are apparently 'Professional Judges'!!
